The Mitsubishi Powertrain Warranty provides protection for components directly related to your powertrain for 10 years or 100,000 miles, whichever comes first.² This includes most engine parts, transmission or transaxle, and other components related to the powertrain, such as propeller shaft assemblies, when design flaws or other manufacturer-related causes lead to issues.

This policy does not protect against perforation due to accident or misuse.

For five years or 60,000 miles – whichever comes first – your vehicle is covered if it produces more than a specific amount of emissions set by the National Emission Standards Act at the time of sale.¹ This policy primarily protects your exhaust components, such as the fuel tank, catalytic converter, and ignition control module, in the case that your vehicle produces too much exhaust under regular use. The amount of allowed emissions changes from model to model; for example, a Mitsubishi Outlander warranty covers different emission levels than a Mitsubishi Mirage warranty.

Does the Mitsubishi Warranty Cover Towing?
